It was the madness of 2020 that pushed Mercy to create a platform and community to enable the Black perspective to be heard on a variety of topics from Black voices. As a content creator and strategist, she got to work and a few months later, Into A Black Mind was born.

RACHEL - WRITER

An avid Marvel Cinematic Universe fan, the release of Black Panther in February 2018 sparked a desire in Rachel to explore what her Blackness means to her. Reeling from the intensity of Black pain and collective Black grief in 2020, she jumped at the chance to channel her passion for advocating for the Black community through Into A Black Mind.
